Affordable Housing Meets the Public Library

What if affordable housing and a public library shared the same roof? That's exactly what is happening in Santa Cruz.

Affordable Housing Finance recently featured our Downtown Library and Affordable Housing Project in "Affordable Housing Meets the Public Library," highlighting how this model reimagines what affordable housing can be.

"It's an opportunity to offer 124 units to people who want to stay in Santa Cruz but may not be able to afford other options in the county and city," says Kate Blessing-Kawamura, director of real estate development at Eden Housing.
