TEN OVER STUDIO is excited to announce the opening of our first satellite location in Bend, OR.  Since opening this office in July of 2017, TEN OVER Architect, Greg Crabtree, has been enjoying the ride during his transition from SLO up north to Bend.

“When opening a satellite location, it was important to us to stay true to our mission and values.  Bend has a similar feel to SLO, with a same sense of ambition, adventure and community,” said Greg.  With sustainability and world-betterment at the forefront of the community, Bend was the obvious choice as a second home for TEN OVER, which has always had a strong focus on “people and the planet.”

For Greg and his wife plus two young kids, moving back to his home state of Oregon was easy; “we are excited to experience seasons again while still having the relaxed atmosphere we loved so much about SLO.”

TEN OVER has a long history with the Pacific Northwest.  President and founder, Jim Duffy, received his Master Degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon, located in Eugene, OR, and vice-president, Joel Snyder, spent many years working in Seattle, WA before both relocating to the Central Coast.

When the idea arose, the three knew Bend would be a natural place for TEN OVER to grow.  The city reflects the mission and values of the firm, and the community is comprised of nature enthusiasts and down-to-earth folks who keep it real.  “Bend is one happy, active place,” says visitbend.com. “Blend that with a vibrant, growth-oriented business sector and you’ve got a winning combination. When people thrive, business thrives.”

Located on the Deschutes River, Bend is Central Oregon's largest city.  With the Cascade Range just a stone’s throw away, Bend is a hub for many outdoor sports favorited by TEN OVER employees, including skiing, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing and white-water-rafting.

TEN OVER is excited to serve a new community and has been enjoying the challenge of finding our niche.  Bend is a unique community with the need for more architecture firms tailored to its diverse personality.  TEN OVER is looking forward to watching their company grow from the new roots they’ve planted in Bend, OR.
