Landscape Architecture connects people, influences our quality of life, and instills balance. It builds relationships, engages our senses, and fosters community in our everyday lives. At TEN OVER STUDIO our designs are developed with a keen understanding of the clients needs and the language of the site. We study and recognize the interworking relationships within our physical environment and design consciously from there.

JULIA OBERHOFF
Principal, Landscape Architect, ASLA
With a Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of California Berkeley, Julia has developed 15 years of experience in both disciplines and is a registered Landscape Architect in California. Here on the Central Coast, Julia applies her knowledge of these two practices in an area where the indoor/outdoor lifestyle is most celebrated.
HEIDI SHURTZ
Project Manager, Landscape Architecture
Heidi is currently living in Bend and brings ten years of experience in the field of landscape architecture within Central Oregon and Southern California. With a BLA from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a minor in sustainable environments, Heidi embraces an approach to design that blends client goals and objectives, efficient project programming, and inspiration from site analysis. Her experience ranges from designing small, residential landscape renovations to project management of large, commercial developments. Heidi's love of nature and travel inspire her to promote outdoor living through thoughtful and beautiful landscape design, encouraging all to get outside and play.
JARED DESBROW
Senior Landscape Designer
Jared brings a BLA from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and experience from a large engineering firm. That experience has given him an understanding of how to work closely with engineers to achieve thoughtful, functional, and well-executed designs. His project experience includes streetscapes, median improvements, residential development, and firefighting facilities. Jared’s love of the outdoors influences a native plant palette and reinforcement of natural systems via storm-water treatment and groundwater recharge.
