ROSEBURG PUBLIC SAFETY CENTER

The iconic civic building co-locates Fire and Police Departments into a 48,000 SF complex that anchors the edge of downtown. The project includes a combined headquarters fire station, headquarters police station, an emergency operations, and a forensic lab, all within a flexible, lasting facility that will grow with the City for the next 50 years.

Project completed while Candice Wong was the Public Safety Studio Manager with another firm. Candice was the Public Safety Designer for the Police Station and EOC in collaboration with PIVOT Architecture, the architect of record.

I worked with Candice Wong during the design phase of the Roseburg Public Safety Center… Her knowledge and experience in police/fire building design was invaluable in helping us make decisions during the process. I personally found Candice insightful, easy to work with and extremely patient, especially in dealing with the “owners” lack of expertise in building design.
