sacramento fire station no.5

The design of this 8,000 SF replacement station carefully integrates an essentially municipal building into an established residential neighborhood and park, while maintaining the integrity of the fire station’s operational needs. The station is a valuable addition to the O’Neil Park neighborhood and provides the Sacramento Fire Department with a functional, economic, and aesthetically pleasing building.

The brick used on this project replicates the historic hand mold bricks produced in the Sacramento area in the 1800’s.

Project completed while Candice Wong was the Public Safety Studio Manager with another firm. Candice was the Project Designer, Project Manager, and the City's Advisor on project compliance with Fire Program.
