SAMMAMISH RESIDENCE

The addition of 547 SF, a loft, new roofline, and reconfiguration of the existing space has pushed this 1980s rambler inside out. The new, single-pitch roof and cantilevered deck direct the flow of the house up and out. Relocation of the main entry has created a central corridor that moves foot traffic in an intuitive pattern. Insulated windows merge at corners to release the space, and create lightness within a heavy timber structure.
