This project was the renovation and conversion of a Class A office building into a new public safety center. The three-story emergency operations facility consists of a 145,000 SF project for a new Sheriff’s Headquarters, Emergency Operations Center, Communication Center, and county-wide IT and Radio Systems.

The new EOF is the headquarters for the Sheriff Department and house administration, support services, and field services. The facility features state of the art technology and facilities for the new communication center and emergency operations center. A wellness center is incorporated in the project to promote physical fitness and facilitate training needs. County information technology, and Marin Emergency Radio Authority, are also included as components of the project.

Candice Wong was the Program Architect and worked on performance specifications, site feasibility studies, and assisted Jones Lang LaSalle with the development of the P3 solicitation design competition and design process while with RRM Design Group. HMC Architects was selected to complete this project.
