In the proposed design, the buildings step up in scale, with lower units facing the streets and taller units tucked up to the hill towards the rear of the property. This allows the project to match the scale of the surrounding neighborhood and providing access to exceptional views.
The proposed design presents a contemporary spin on prairie and craftsman style which is specifically allowed in the Margarita Area Specific Plan and considered most appropriate for mid-sized multifamily projects. Attractive affordable housing and site design is exceptionally important if the stigma of affordable housing projects is ever to be eliminated. It is critically important to us that this project's tenants feel their home is on-par with their neighbors.
