TEN OVER completed conceptual research for a brewery and restaurant remodel located in downtown San Luis Obispo. The "European grunge" style was translated using artists’ paintings on the walls and graphic linework translations of baroque patterns. The feature walls are made out of wood panels with CNC-machined baroque patterns to be painted black in the furrows. In the restaurant, the rough look of the wood boards, along with the precision of the CNC cut, brings a blend of grunge and contemporary styles. The underground brewery is a display for a large, 20th century, futuristic industry painting.
